Grace City Outreach exists to lead our city and our world into a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.

We love our city and our world through relationships. We are intentional about who we partner with as we serve compassionately and consistently in order to restore individuals and ourselves into right relationship with God, others, creation, and self.

Join us for Serve Day!

Serve Day is our annual opportunity as a church to go out into our city and serve our community! There are Serve Locations with all kinds of different opportunities for you and the whole family to be a part of!

All of our teams will meet at our Lakeside Campus for a Serve Day Rally at 10:00AM and we will head off to our Serve Locations after our rally!

Saturday Serve

Saturday Serve is our monthly opportunity to serve our city with trusted local partners. On the second Saturday of each month, we mobilize across Lakeland to meet needs, build relationships, and share the hope of the Gospel. Each outreach is team-led and open to anyone ready to make a difference.

Pick an outreach. Serve with a team. Let’s make an impact together!

Choose your outreach below and find your place to serve.

Homeless Care Outreach

Serve with Worth and Purpose to connect one-on-one with individuals experiencing homelessness in our city. Come help meet tangible needs through compassionate one on one interaction.

Hunger Relief Outreach

Our team will serve alongside One More Child to help in their food warehouse. We will sort and organize food items that will be distributed across Central Florida. These efforts help ensure that families and individuals in need have reliable access to food.

Housing for the Homeless Outreach

Serve with Gospel Inc. to maintain outdoor spaces at Gospel Village, a housing community for the formerly homeless. Volunteers build community through grounds care and personal connections with the residents.

Salt Night

Salt Night is an evening for our church to step out together and live on mission in Lakeland. We’ll meet at the church at 5:30pm for a short send-off, then head out in small groups around 6:00pm to be present in our city.

Groups may walk the lake, grab dinner, visit a park, or choose another everyday activity with the goal of looking for natural opportunities to pray, encourage others, and share the hope of Jesus. Teams will be formed during the send-off gathering.

Grace City Missions

Our Grace City Missions aid our global partners by participating in short-term mission trips.

This year, our international and domestic trips include Alaska, Cambodia, and Honduras. Our teams serve in many different ways in so many different places, so there’s a Grace City Mission Trip for you!

ALASKA

June 5th-12th

Cost: $2,200

This summer, our team will travel to Alaska to serve at Abundant Life Church, where we’ll help lead a VBS and share the love of Jesus with local kids and youth. We’ll also partner with Freedom House, a faith-based sober living home, to meet practical needs, encourage them, and support residents in their journey toward lasting freedom in Christ.

HONDURAS

June 20th-27th

Cost: $1,500

Our team will spend a week at Instituto El Rey (IER), partnering with students, teachers, and the surrounding community. We’ll support classroom activities, assist with school improvement projects, and build meaningful relationships through daily interactions and chapel services. We’ll also have opportunities for community outreach and nightly devotions with the missionaries. This trip invites us to learn, serve, and invest in the ongoing work God is doing at IER.

CAMBODIA

July 17th-30th

Cost: $3,800

Our Cambodia trip will focus on relational, evangelism-based ministry. We’ll spend time in local villages, sharing the gospel—often with people hearing it for the very first time. Our heart is to come alongside the Cambodian believers already faithfully serving there, encouraging and equipping them as they continue building long-term discipleship in their communities.
