Why we collect private information about you:
Grace City Church is a non-profit organization dedicated to leading people into a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. This means we embark on several different ways to develop and implement Christian services in our community. This includes our current campuses, resource dissemination, further investing in our innovative kids and youth programs, and involvement in our local and international aid initiatives to help people with acute needs from many different countries and cultures. We collect information about people to allow us to communicate with them, introduce them to our organization, promote the Gospel to them, pray and provide other Christian services to them, and inform them of our work. We do not use the information in any way other than to further our objects and purposes.

We might also use your information for the following purposes:
– for the immediate reason for which you have provided it to us (for example, to enable us to process your request, payment, registration, subscription, etc.)
– to maintain contact with you about our work, to report to you about our work, or to encourage you to learn about what we do
– any other purpose directly related to our work and for which you have provided consent (where it is reasonably required by law)

We don’t rent, sell, or exchange your information. The types of organizations to whom we normally disclose your personal information, including those who help us administer our technology information systems. We take reasonable steps to ensure that these organizations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations when handling your personal information. If you don’t want your personal information disclosed to another organization, and your information has not been collected digitally where you have signed the privacy statement, please let us know either when we collect your information by other means or at any later time. We collect personal information about supporters, donors, volunteers, employees, contractors, and visitors to our events. We collect your information in the following ways:

– electronically including through our website and online surveys
– via social media messages or conversation

– voice or image recordings
– while delivering and administering services at our facilities or other facilities, and from forms and other correspondence (both in writing and electronically)

How we use your information:
We only use your personal and sensitive information for the reason we collect it as set out above and for the purpose(s) for which it was collected or as otherwise permitted by law. We will not disclose the information we collect to affiliates or third parties without your consent.

Accessing and correcting your personal information:
You can access your information by asking us. Occasionally, we may need to refuse your request to access information, for example, where granting you access would infringe on someone else’s privacy. When you request access, we will ask you to provide some form of identification so that we can ensure that you are the person to whom the information relates. In some cases, we may also ask you to pay a reasonable fee to cover the cost of access.

2. After we receive all the information we need from you, allow us approximately 28 days to address your complaint.

Disclosing your personal information overseas:
Occasionally we may use overseas facilities or contractors to process or back-up information or to provide other services. As a result, we may disclose your personal information to our overseas facilities or contractors for these purposes. Any disclosure of your personal information overseas does not change our commitment to safeguarding your privacy. We do not otherwise disclose or transfer your personal information overseas.

Securing your information:
We take reasonable steps to ensure the security of our personal and sensitive information and protect it against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. Our systems are password-protected and comply with applicable security standards.
Only authorized personnel are permitted to access these details.

It is our policy to:
– permanently de-identify personal information where reasonable and possible
– destroy personal information once there is no longer a legal or business need for us to retain it

Anonymity:
It is your right to be dealt with anonymously, provided that it is lawful and practicable. We will try to accommodate a request for anonymity wherever possible; however, we note that in some circumstances, this may prevent us from practically and effectively communicating with you.

Health Information:
As part of our services, we may collect health information (such as your medical history to determine your eligibility to participate in certain initiatives).
When collecting health information from you, we will obtain your consent to such collection and explain how the information will be used and disclosed. If health information is collected from a third party (such as from your doctor), we will inform you that this information has been collected and will explain how this information will be used and disclosed. We will not use health information beyond the consent provided by you unless your
further consent is obtained or in accordance with any applicable law. If we use your health information for research or statistical purposes, it will be
de-identified if practical to do so.

Refunds

Refunds are not offered under any circumstances for event registrations, including but not limited to Echo Conference, Grace City Conference, Central Summer Camp, Grace City Kids Camp, GCLI Registration, and Experience Trips, except where required by law. Refunds are not offered under any circumstances for purchases of physical products, including but not limited to Life Journal, albums and EPs, merchandise, t-shirts, and mugs, except where required by law or in the case of the defective product. Federal law allows that returns be made for any reason on an unused product by midnight on the third day after purchase.

Welcome to Grace City Church (“Grace City,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use govern your relationship with us, including your use of our website (gracecity.com), mobile applications, text messaging services, online giving platforms, livestreams, and participation in our in-person and online ministries, events, and volunteer opportunities (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing our website, opting into our communications, or participating in our ministries, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Digital Content & Website Use

Permitted Use

Our digital platforms exist to share the Gospel, build community, and support the ministries of Grace City Church. You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes.

Intellectual Property

All sermons, livestreams, original music, graphics, articles, logos, videos, photographs, and other original content are the property of Grace City Church and are protected by applicable copyright laws. You may stream, download, and share our content for personal, non-commercial, or small group use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or sell our content without prior written permission.

User-Contributed Content

If you submit prayer requests, comments, testimonials, or other content through our Services, you agree not to post material that is defamatory, offensive, unlawful, or violates another person’s privacy. Grace City Church reserves the right to moderate or remove content at its sole discretion.

2. Financial Stewardship & Online Giving

Secure Processing

Online tithes, offerings, and donations are processed securely through Overflow. Grace City Church does not store credit card information on its own servers.

Refund Policy

Charitable contributions are generally non-refundable. If you believe a processing error has occurred, such as an incorrect donation amount, please contact our office within 14 days so we can review the transaction.

3. Communication Terms (SMS & Email)

By providing your contact information to Grace City Church, you consent to receive communications from us as described below. You may manage or withdraw your consent at any time.

A. Email Communications

Consent & Subscription
By completing a Connect Card, registering for an event, creating an account, or subscribing through our website, you agree to receive emails from Grace City Church. These communications may include weekly updates, ministry news, event information, giving receipts, and administrative notices.

Frequency
Church-wide emails are generally sent weekly. Additional communications may be sent based on the ministries, Groups, Teams, events, or volunteer opportunities you choose to participate in.

How to Opt Out
Every marketing or informational email includes an “Unsubscribe” or “Manage Preferences” link. You may use these options at any time to update your communication preferences.

Transactional Emails
Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, you may still receive transactional emails such as giving receipts, event confirmations, account notifications, or password reset emails.

B. SMS & Text Messaging

Consent & Opt-In
By providing your mobile phone number and expressly opting in through a web form, paper form, keyword, or other approved method, you consent to receive informational, pastoral, event-related, and emergency text messages from Grace City Church. Consent is voluntary and is not required to attend or participate in church activities.

Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies based on the ministries or events you choose to participate in. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier.

How to Opt Out
You may opt out of text messages at any time by texting STOP to +1 (954) 883-9168. You will receive a final confirmation message before you are removed from future text communications.

4. Ministries, Events & Child Safety

Grace City Church is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Child & Student Safety

Parents or legal guardians must register children for age-appropriate ministry environments and follow established check-in and check-out procedures. Volunteers serving with children or students complete screening, background checks where applicable, and ministry training in accordance with Grace City’s Child Protection Policy.

Event Registration

Registration fees for conferences, camps, retreats, or other special events are subject to the cancellation and refund policies listed for each event.

Code of Conduct

We ask all attendees, volunteers, and participants to treat one another with dignity, kindness, and respect, helping create a safe and welcoming environment across all Grace City ministries.

5. Media Release

Grace City Church regularly photographs, records, and livestreams worship services and public events to celebrate what God is doing in our church and community.

By attending public worship services or events, you acknowledge that your image, likeness, or voice may appear in church publications, livestreams, social media, videos, or other ministry communications.

If you prefer not to appear in photos or video, please notify a member of our Staff before the service or event. While we cannot guarantee that every image can be avoided during public gatherings, we will make reasonable efforts to honor your request.

Grace City Church takes additional care when photographing or filming minors. Identifiable images of children participating in ministry environments will not be published without appropriate parental or guardian consent when required.

6. Volunteer Guidelines

Individuals serving on a Grace City Team agree to follow Grace City’s volunteer policies, Team expectations, leadership standards, and any ministry-specific training requirements.

Volunteering does not create an employment relationship with Grace City Church.

Certain volunteer positions—including those involving children, students, finances, counseling, or other sensitive ministries—require background checks and additional training before serving.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Services Provided “As Is”

Our digital Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive to provide reliable access, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

Pastoral Guidance

Pastoral care, prayer, and spiritual encouragement provided by Grace City Church are intended for spiritual support and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or mental health services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Grace City Church, its elders, officers, employees, Staff, and volunteers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services or participation in church activities.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to its conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to These Terms

Grace City Church may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
